Wood Moulding Suppliers & Timber Moulding Manufacturers for the Canadian Market
Goodwood Mouldings is a Xiamen-based manufacturer supplying solid wood, finger-jointed, MDF and veneered mouldings to Canadian importers, distributors and door & window manufacturers. Our full in-house production -- from log intake to export packaging -- means consistent quality, predictable lead times and documentation that meets Canadian import requirements, including SOR/2016-184 formaldehyde compliance.
Why Canadian Trade Buyers Source from Goodwood
Four capabilities that directly address the sourcing priorities we hear most from Canadian importers, distributors and manufacturers.
Complete In-House Production
Our 200,000 m² facility covers every stage -- log processing, finger-jointing, veneering, coating, CNC finishing and packaging -- entirely under one roof. No outsourced subcontracting means consistent quality across batches and a single point of accountability on every order.
Key benefit: Batch-to-batch colour and dimension consistency for long-term supply programmes.
Mixed Container Loading
Each full container can carry 20-60 SKUs in a single shipment. Canadian distributors managing broad product ranges can consolidate orders, reduce freight cost per SKU and expand their catalogue without committing to separate minimum-order runs per profile.
Key benefit: Lower landed cost per SKU and simpler inventory planning across your full range.
Canada-Compliant Documentation
Our MDF and composite mouldings are produced to CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission limits. Canada's Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products Regulations (SOR/2016-184) align closely with CARB Phase 2 thresholds, so our existing test reports and certifications support Canadian customs clearance. We supply full export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and available third-party test reports on request.
Key benefit: Reduced documentation friction at the Canadian border for composite wood products.
Long-Term Restocking
We maintain tooling and production records for every active SKU, enabling reliable repeat orders across multi-year supply programmes. Canadian door and window manufacturers running 5-15 year product lines can expect consistent profile dimensions and finish specifications on every restock -- not just the first order.
Key benefit: Predictable replenishment without re-qualifying a new supplier each cycle.

Where We Are Not the Right Fit
We prefer to flag limitations upfront rather than after production. If any of the following applies to your situation, we'll tell you directly during the quoting conversation.
Minimum Order Is Full Container Load (FCL)
Our production and logistics model is optimised for full container load shipments. We are not set up for small parcel, LCL spot orders or emergency fill-in quantities. If your immediate need is a few hundred linear feet to cover a gap in stock, we are not the right source for that particular order.
Finger-Jointed Profiles Are Not Suitable for Clear or Transparent Finishes
Finger-jointed mouldings are engineered for paint-grade applications. Joint lines will be visible under clear lacquer or stain finishes. If your product specification calls for a transparent finish, solid wood mouldings are the appropriate choice -- we produce both and will recommend accordingly.
MDF Mouldings Are for Interior Protected Applications Only
MDF profiles are not suitable for exterior exposure or high-moisture environments such as bathrooms without additional sealing. For exterior applications or high-humidity interiors, we recommend solid wood or finger-jointed profiles with appropriate primer and topcoat systems.
Explore Solutions by Buyer Type or Product
Canadian buyers source differently depending on their business model. The pages below go deeper on the capabilities most relevant to each type.
Importers & Distributors
Mixed container loading, private-label packaging, SKU range expansion and stable restocking for Canadian building material distributors.
Door & Window Manufacturers
Consistent batch colour, certified composite wood documentation and multi-year supply reliability for Canadian door and window production programmes.
Finger-Jointed Mouldings
Paint-grade finger-jointed profiles in pine, poplar and other species -- produced to consistent moisture content and joint strength standards for the Canadian climate.
About Goodwood
Nearly 30 years of manufacturing experience, a fully integrated production facility and a documented quality management system -- built to meet the sourcing standards of trade buyers in North America, Europe and Australia.
200,000 m² In-House Production -- From Log Intake to Export Packaging
Our Xiamen facility covers the full production chain: log processing, finger-jointing, veneering, coating, CNC finishing and packaging -- entirely under one roof. No subcontracting, no third-party handoffs.
IQC, IPQC and FQC: How We Manage Batch Consistency at Scale
Our three-stage quality management process -- incoming material inspection, in-process quality control and final goods inspection -- is designed to catch dimensional, surface and finish deviations before they reach a shipping container.
FSC, CARB, ISO 9001 and E0/E1: Our Certification Portfolio Explained
A full overview of our active certifications -- what each one requires, which markets they satisfy, and how we maintain compliance across product lines. Includes chain-of-custody documentation and formaldehyde emissions compliance relevant to North American import requirements.
Ready to Discuss Your Moulding Requirements?
Tell us your target profiles, annual volume and any compliance documentation you need. We typically respond with an initial capability assessment within a few business days -- no intermediaries, directly from our production team.
Note on minimum orders: We work on full container load (FCL) basis. If your current requirement is a small spot order or emergency fill-in quantity, we'll tell you upfront that we are not the right fit for that particular need -- and suggest the conversation wait until your next planned container cycle.
